I would say that more time could be taken to listen tom the patient rather than talk at them.

Having a long term goal to work towards and my doctor always explaining any treatment pathways to be taken witch has helped me to be able to engage and get the most support whilst moving through these pathways has helped me also to grow as a person

I am a General Adult/Neuro Consultant Psychiatrist, who likes to promote independence in my patients, facilitate conversations with them to involve in the analysis of their illness, collaborative work and help them develop their recovery plan with the help of professionals.
